The Event

 

The 14th All-Star Classic Youth Football Tournament will kick off at 9AM on December 2, 2017. The Tournament will be hosted at the City of Lauderhill Sports Complex. This will be an event for the entire family to enjoy. Enlisting the participation of 500 boys and girls ages 6-16; 80 Adult Male and Female Coaches representing teams throughout Broward County and more than 20 support staffers from Game Officials to Field Announcers.

Admission to the event is free, giving participants, their families and the community the opportunity to take part in a publicly televised commentated sporting event. Each player and cheerleader receives a signature event jersey, and coaches receive a sponsored sport polo on game day to keep as souvenirs of their participation in the Classic Event. Monies donated by our sponsors go directly into the cost to host this and other community events to benefit the youth of Broward County.

 

 

Getting the Word Out

 

As a sponsor of this premier event you will be prominently featured in event literature and on the All-Star Classic website with the option of linking our website to yours. The demographics of the event participants stretches from Boynton Beach to Dania Beach (North & South) and from the Ocean to cities as far west as Sunrise and Coral Springs. Participating teams are then divided into a North and South split.

This All-Star Classic event has become a staple event in the community, drawing crowds of families and thankful youth ranging in numbers of more than 3,000 people. With your support we’re hoping to reach more families and raise more funds for The All-Star Classic, Inc. to be able to provide more positive community support to the youth families of Broward County.

 

You and/or your company will be featured on customized event promotional materials and on the All-Star Classic website. In order to limit our costs and maximize funds raised for this and other All-Star Classic’s community initiatives, all event participants and volunteers will register and gather event information from the official All-Star Classic website, www.chrissmithclassic.com. This promotional strategy will greatly increase the number of visitors to our website and likewise your company’s visibility while significantly limiting the need for costly multiple mailings and print materials.

 

Event promotional materials will be targeted throughout Broward County to advertise the event. Marketing materials and press releases highlighting the event and its sponsors will be targeted to more than 300,000 people in the Tri-County area via newspaper ads, radio announcements and television advertisements.

The All-Star Classic, Inc. provides a positive atmosphere where Broward County youth and their families have the opportunity to receive recognition for their outstanding accomplishments both on and off the field from their coaches and the community. By doing so The All-Star Classic, Inc. strives to:

• Provide a positive influence for others to participate in the mentoring aspect of youth sports.

 

With help from supporters like you, The All-Star Classic has continued to grow in its number of participants, volunteers, and spectators in the Tri-County area since 2003.

 

 

Our Funding

 

Our continued positive impact is made possible by donations by companies and individuals in the community. 100% of the funds raised go directly to the youth to provide support to local student athletes through individual and team sponsorships, academic and athletic scholarships, and an annual football tournament for the entire community. The entire All-Star Classic staff is made up of volunteers who see the importance of our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of the youth in our community.

 

 

Our Goal

 

Studies have informed us that children who participate in competitive team sports reap many benefits including self-confidence, a healthier body and stronger relationships with peers and adults. And the volunteer coaches who untiringly devote their time to helping youth to develop important life skills, confidence are the backbone of youth sports in America. Therefore we have made it our goal to support this unique group of individuals by providing an event for the entire community to recognize their achievements both on and off the field, and you can help make that happen.
